The goal of the university was simple. In line with its thrust to improve its online and web based operations, Rajasthan Veterinary University needs to migrate its internal PHP applications running on IIS 7 (the Windows 2008 environment) to a newer and better Microsoft platform without causing any negative impact on application performance and cost. There was a need for a robust, scalable, and high-performance Windows-based hosting solution physically located and easily accessible throughout India.
